The "New York Mets" of Austin's popular music festival scene is undoubtedly the
Austin City Limits festival (over 130 bands on 8 stages in 3 days! How cute!). The boutique fest caters to a slightly different audience than the powerhouse SXSW. But the TERRIBLE (and I can't stress how terrible, you need to see it for yourself) video promoting/announcing the lineup has revealed a pretty decent roster of artists. We're talking great acts like The Strokes, Spoon, Yeasayer, The National, Vampire Weekend, Local Natives, and more. Oh, Muse will be there too, for the main-streamers. Not sure what the Eagles are all about. And MIA will do something, but who cares. Video after the jump.
Really, it's pretty awful. Headphones UP if you don't want to be laughed at.
