Cobi is one of those rare and special artists who manage to sneak up on you. it's very possible you recognize his name from his former band, Gentleman Hall, which Cobi has since left to pursue a solo career. After signing to 300 Entertainment as a solo artist and premiering his single, "Don't You Cry For Me," It's become abundantly clear that his music is not the kind we can or should, do without. As Cobi gradually settles into a new territory fixed for distinction and praise, the 25-year-old seems to be taking his growing success in stride as he continues to debut music that's so damn good, you can't believe you've gone your whole life without it.

Accompanied by a gospel choir, "Don't You Cry For Me" is a heart-wrenching, melodic and sonic triumph, but more significantly, it is a clamant ballad of sorrow, loss and redemption. Check out the new single below and catch him live on tour, this month.
