Sometimes I like to pay very close attention to my Twitter feed, particularly at the end of the day, because man I've been working hard on making Ke$ha jokes. Hefty. Hefty. I needa relax! So at 5:55 PM yesterday, when I saw Pitchfork had again broke another MIA track that was ripped off UK radio, I clicked. And like most MIA things, I wasn't surprised or impressed! So I decided to wait until today to refute the British claim that MIA has "the hottest record in the world right now". Come on, British! That's like claiming to have the best food in the world.
Those of you who read this blog often (like Mr. Baeble, my dad, and that might be it) know that I have a standing feud with the idea of MIA. So I'll try to be as fair as possible. "XXXO" is a promising start, with a pretty awesome and catchy hook, I'll admit. But the title cry is as annoying as when MIA goes on a rant about humanitarianism and makes "puns" about Tweetie Bird and iPhones. NEET job, MIA. Ugh.
