British group 2:54
has been gaining some serious traction in anticipation of their debut self-titled release, which is due on 5/28 via Fat Possum. After previewing some excellent material, 2:54 has released the B-side to "Creeping"
titled "The March." Although it won't appear on the proper full-length, the track still further establishes 2:54 as a band to keep an eye on.
The newest track features some pretty awesome guitar variations, with several layers twisting in and out of earshot, complimenting each other each other as they pass. As the guitars gradually gain distortion, harmonies boost Colette Thurlow's voice. The result sounds like a mixture of Northwest American Rock and the voice of tour-mates The xx. Download "The March" and get pumped for the debut record, if you weren't already.
