Way back in the beginning of February, we were lucky enough to
catch the record release show for Brooklyn lo-fi pop group
Hospitality. It was a great show as was their
debut album from Merge Records. Hospitality just did a session as part of NPR's "Tiny Desk" Series playing three tracks off the album ("Sleepover," "The Birthday," and "Betty Wang"). It's a lovely, intimate performance showing how well their album sound transfers live, and it begs the question as to why this talented group hasn't blown up in a more significant way?
