TOKYO POLICE CLUB READY RECORD, TOUR

If Ontario’s Tokyo Police Club owe their prolonged shelf life to a 7 song, 16 minute EP released darn near a year and a half ago (A Lesson in Crime), then just imagine what their first proper full-length might be able to accomplish. The crystalline collection of honey suckled melodies, seasoned songcraft, and dare deviling energy that is Elephant Shell suggests it’s an album capable of a whole lot. Why, even ahead of its’ release on April 22nd on Saddle Creek, Tokyo Police Club have already strung together an impressive string of live outings to work their way through…including three sold out affairs in New York City. I suppose you could say Elephant Shell is already working for ‘em. So the least you can do is pick up some tickets to the gigs below and make TPC work for you. – David Pitz
