Micachu has been one of the buzziest artists out there these days. Her debut album,
Jewelry, which was released last month has already garnered praise from some high places, including The Times and The Guardian. She has even received praise from fellow musician Owen Pallett (Final Fantasy), on the now ever popular Twitter site, when he 'tweeted', "OK, this Micachu record is the best thing on earth. I am going to buy ten copies tomorrow." If you have yet to hear anything from this UK multi-instrumentalist, you are in for a treat. Micachu and her band, The Shapes, have just released their first ever music video for "The Lips". It is an odd little video, but a fun one nonetheless. It showcases the band's unpolished, experimental side, while at the same time giving us a little taste of what makes this band so interesting. -
