Metric seem to know they're on the verge of something bigger, or at least the lyrics from this, the first single from the soon to be released
Fantasies suggest it. "We're so close to something better left unknown/I can feel it in my bones/Gimme Sympathy/After all this is gone who would you rather be/The Beatles or the Rolling Stones". A little farfetched, Ms. Haines. But! We get the point. Big things are going to spring from this record. Regardless of all this pontificating, the glammy piece of performance video offered here is as slick as the song that supports it. Plus, Metric's versatility is second to none (or so the video would like you to believe). We're convinced. Big things... HUGE! MASSIVE! things. -
