Dawes, the latest folk product of LA's illustrious Laurel Canyon, recently announced the June 7 release date of their second full-length, Nothing Is Wrong. In support of the album, they're giving away its first track, "If I Wanted Someone".

Immediately noticed are its Canyon vibes, which closely relate to Dawes' residential predecessors, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young. They manage to brilliantly combine folkie-harmonized vocals and piano with gripping rock guitar riffs. Imagine Fleet Foxes with a Neil Young guitar solo. While this statement may initially seem appalling, listen to the track and you'll surely appreciate its blue-collared beauty.
