Writing from almost 2AM PST with limited sleep is the best time to write about Coachella. Day three kept up the pace with ridiculously big performances-- Justice, At The Drive-In, Florence and The Machine, and of course, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and a few of their friends. The crowd during Snoop and Dre was the most intensely connected I've seen-- but this is the West Coast after all.

Some notes on the day before I drive to the airport (seriously): Florence nailed it with her theatrics (and her crowd was loving it), At The Drive-In had the wittiest banter, and Justice had the loudest lights. Dre and Snoop had both the most inspiring and the creepiest moments-- the inspiring being the awesome sight of so many people on the same page singing along to Snoop's final number, and the creepiest being Tupac's posthumous performance. From the back, shit looked real.

I visited the Sahara tent for the first time, and it was terrifying. The bass almost broke my arm. I'm not sure my body could handle the amount of drugs you need to make that a twelve-hour experience. That being said, Nero put on a hell of a show.

Although the day seemed less stacked, the finish couldn't have been more perfect. The biggest, most ridiculous way to end Coachella was watching Snoop take one last puff as the lights went out. So long Coachella week two, we hardly remember ye.
