  • Here is the kind of news you don’t read every day. My Bloody Valentine – the hallowed English outfit responsible for just about every band that has pumped massive swarms of guitar through miles of chords and processors over the last fifteen years – are officially gracing our little continent with their presence. And if you don’t find that at least sort of special, get this: it’ll be their first American gig in over 16 years. Better yet, My Bloody Valentine isn’t the only band coming. No, turns out All Tomorrow’s Parties are finally giving the East Coast a three day taste of their (and MBV's) supreme curating abilities. Wow…

Weird thing about this one (other than the fact that it will mark My Bloody Valentine’s first show in 16 years) though is the location that will play host to the fall classic. Scheduled for September 19th – 21st in Monticello NY, ATP will take place on the intimate grounds of Kutshers Country Club. 3000 weekend passes will be made available starting Friday April 25th @ 10AM EST. Check out the first half of the line up below. It is sort of ridiculous. – David Pitz

    ATP New York Lineup:
    My Bloody Valentine
Built to Spill – performing Perfect From Now On
Meat Puppets – performing Meat Puppets II
Thurston Moore – performing Psychic Hearts
Tortoise – performing Millions Now Living Will Never Die
    Shellac
    Mogwai
    Polvo
    Fuck Buttons
    Autolux
    The Drones
    Low
    Wooden Ships
    Edan with guest Dagha
