Flume and Swedish songstress, Tove Lo, have teamed-up for a new track, "Say It," off Flume's forthcoming LP Skin (out May 27), which already has collaborations with Vince Staples and Kai. This is Flume's fourth single off his upcoming LP following "Never Be Like You", "Wall Fuck," and "Smoke & Retribution" and it's becoming clear that he's creating what could be the best dance album of 2016 with a little bit of hip-hop, experimental sounds, and pop electronics like in his new track, "Say It."
The track features an impressive range of vocals from Tove Lo as she sings of heartbreak and emotion. "Don't doubt me babe / You make me wanna change." Flume uses his signature mixture of atmospheric sounds, glitchy synths, and heavy beats to create yet another smooth and catchy track. It isn't as much of a dance banger as his previous tracks...Flume seems to dial it down to allow Tove Lo's vocals shine through - which is a decision we totally agree with. When asked how the collaboration came about, Flume said he heard Tove Lo on the radio and had to Shazam the song because he was into her sound. A few days later, Tove Lo and Flume met up to produce "Say It" in only a few days.
