New York garage rock band Yellow Ostrich were one of the many excellent bands to stop by Baeble's SXSW showcase in Austin this year. They're back again with a new music video for the propulsive, "Marathon Runner." Continuing the trend from the last two years to make music videos involving creepy children ("Midnight City," "Sixteen Saltines," and "Bizness"), we've got two kids in Jason Vorhees masks with Wolverine claws running amok in their neighborhood. They come off as a cross between Casey Jones from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Vega from the old school Street Fighter games. So maybe creepy is the wrong word for these kids. Really bad-ass might be more appropriate. We'll let you decide.
