The dusty, desert-scorched moods that tumble through Spindrift's "When I Was Free" get set to an interesting set of visuals, as the band pair elements of documentary with bits of the surreal. The imaginative video serves as homage to photographer Stanley Sanger; an enigmatic, solitary artist who captured thousands of images of the band, before ultimately disappearing.

"When I Was Free" is the first song to emerge from Classic Soundtracks: Vol 1; an album the band has plans to set visuals to every single song. Look for it May 10th.
