So, as you should know by now, Coachella
went down in the deserts of California last weekend (and it will be blowing our minds again next weekend), and if we can believe the collected explosion of the twitterverse/blogosphere, it was pretty amazing. Whether it was Radiohead, Bon Iver, Real Estate, Azealia Banks, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg (with a holographic Tupac Shakur), St. Vincent, or M83, there hasn't been this much fun in the desert since... probably last year's Coachella (which had Yeezy and Arcade Fire). We've got some of the best performances of the weekend, but seriously, you have to watch the Dre and Snoop Dogg video for holographic Pac. It is absurd and ridiculous and probably just a little bit offensive, but damn if it isn't awesome as well. Someone should have made a holographic Axl Rose for this year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame so the rest of Guns N' Roses could have played the ceremony.
fans may be disappointed with Radiohead's set because there's only one song from their magnum opus on this heavily In Rainbows
/King of Limbs
(This is my pick for the most insane set of the evening. Not only does Kendrick Lamar come out to perform "The Recipe," possibly one of the best hip-hop tracks of the year with Dre, but they bring out a hologram of Tupac for "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted." You literally can't top that. If you want to skip straight to Pac, check out just his performance below.)
