As Tupac has taught us, artist's music will never fail to crop up even after they take their career to the grave (whether figuratively or not). Although LCD Soundsystem have recently disbanded and many only just began to mourn, it didn't take too long before some new material from the now defunct band found its way onto the web. This track is a cover of Franz Ferdinand's "Live Alone", hailing from an upcoming Record Store Day release that features various covers from Franz Ferdinand's 2009 album Tonight.

As one of the pop-up-commenters on the soundcloud puts it, the track is "gweird". But gweird in a gwood way. Check out LCD Soundsystem's cover of Franz Ferdinand's "Live Alone" below:

And here is the full tracklist for the Franz Ferdinand Record Store Day covers release:

1. Deborah Harry - Live Alone
2. LCD Soundsystem - Live Alone
3. Peaches - Turn It On
4. ESG - What She Came For
5. Stephin Merritt - Dream Again
