Baltimore's rapper/beat mastermind, Blaqstarr, is providing his enormous, 25-track, self-titled mixtape for free, in its entirety. His latest project is said to be his exploration of pop music as well as an experimentation with hip-hop. While many of the tracks maintain his inflicting club banging, others branch into alternative musical realms. The mixtape contains multiple collaboration tracks with artists like Mos Def and MIA. In the song "War Of Roses", featuring Talib Kweli, club beats are replaced by hard guitar riffs and distorted vocals, making Lenny Kravitz look foolish (as if he wasn't already).
