The Pixies toured last year (we even had the chance to catch them live at Maxwell's during the tour), but when that tour ended, there has been little talk of the group touring together again for a while let alone making new music, so thankfully a band like Grand Duchy exists. Consisting of the Pixies' Black Francis and his wife Violet Clark, Grand Duchy sounds nothing like the Pixies. It's an electronica group first and foremost with an emphasis on the weird and bizarre, but that's also why it's so fun. Check out their whole album, Let the People Speak, which you can stream below.
