Sometimes, all of the endless niches and subniches and strange corners of the indie music-verse can be exhausting (remember seapunk... 2011/12 were really f***ing weird), and the only thing you really want is some straight-forward, emotional rock & roll. I don't know how cool it is to talk about how great Guster was these days or how excited I get when I hear a band that's clearly influenced by those Boston alt-rock titans, but I gave up on giving a sh*t about what hipsters thought was cool years ago. California via Massachusetts rockers Elder Brother harken back to the glory days of early 2000s college rock with elegant guitars and unashamedly emotional delivery. We're happy to be premiering the video for their song "Wish You Were Here," and I'm looking forward to hearing more from this band in the future.
