It's been almost three years since Bitte Orca confused our ears with something halfway in between ambient weirdo screams and radio-friendly pop, an arranged marriage by Reverend Dave Longstreth. After a puzzling email this morning from Dirty Projectors, we knew Dave and co. were back in the studio, but we didn't expect to hear something so quickly (something so wacky, we did expect). In any event, enjoy this stream of "Gun Has No Trigger" as you jettison into your weekend, pondering the freak-funk of DP's new sound, and if the Projectors pips picked up some of their new-found jazzy swagger from their time in the studio with The Roots.
