Now Playing: Greek Fire In Session

In our interview with Ryan and Moon from St. Louis-based alternative rock band, Greek Fire, the duo shared with us the origin of their name. Greek Fire is an ancient weapon that was thrown on to ships. "It would spread like wild fire and water couldn't put it out," Moon told us. Hence, poetically speaking it's a pretty apropos name for a band.

In our newest sesh, the band share a pair of tunes that, even when stripped to their core, are combustible in nature. These are memorable hooks; the kind you only need to hear once to have bouncing around in your head all day. So give our new session a spin, let the choruses sink in, and share with your friends. There's a fire to spread...light the fuse and press play.
