I understand that as a Boston Celtics fan, I'm not supposed to like this song. I'm supposed to support my team of 75-year-old, glass kneed players. And I do. It's just that this song is really catchy, so Boston, you can't be mad that I'm singing along to this L.A. Lakers anthem because you probably would be too.
Flatbush Zombies have been getting a lot of attention for their recent videos, especially because they don't seem to have any release dates for a mixtape, album or anything. All the same, the duo is carving out their own style of intoxicated dark, deep-voiced rap over heavy (pretty awesome) beats. The song, "Laker Paper," is produced by Erick Arc Elliott, and sounds like it should be the L.A. equivalent to Pittsburgh's "Black and Yellow."
