Too many bands get a taste of success (thanks to a surprise hit single) and look to overly expand their sound for their next album, losing sight of what made some fans fall in love in the first place. It appears that Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
will be avoiding that rookie trap. Their new album, Here
, comes out 5/29, and the first single, "Man on Fire," finds the group doubling down on the their lo-fi hippie folk aesthetic. The song doesn't have the same zeitgeist-y quality of "Home," but nobody was expecting that song to blow up the way it did either.
