If you haven't yet heard of Passion Pit you must be living under a rock. Along with their debut Chunk of Change EP making huge waves all over North America, they have also opened for such notable bands like The Dodos, These New Puritans, Girl Talk and Death Cab For Cutie. Perhaps you have heard the incredibly addictive Sleepyhead on a PSP commercial or maybe it was from MTV's 'What The Flip?' campaign, but one way or another, you've heard it.

Well Michael Angelakos, Ian Hultquist , Ayad Al Adhamy, Jeff Apruzzese and Nate Donmoyer have decided to strike while the iron is hot. On May 19th the band will release their debut LP, entitled Manners on Frenchkiss records. As a teaser, the band has put up the fourth song on the album, The Reeling, on their Myspace Page. While the song is undoubtedly Passion Pit, it sounds a little bit more subdued than what we heard on the EP. It is obviously impossible to judge how the rest of the album will sound but one thing is for sure, this album is going to be quite the hot item when it hits stores. In support of the albums release, the band is hitting the road throughout May and June and has some festival dates lined up for the end of the summer as well. We've heard good things about their live show, so you may want to check them out. -Greg Lozoff
