Spike Jonze assisted in making Arcade Fire a household name when Max and his monsters danced to "Wake Up" in Where the Wild Things Are. Jonze also contributed by directing the music video for the Grammy-winning album's "The Suburbs". The director, most recently, teamed up with Win and Will Butler to write and produce Scenes From the Suburbs, a 30-minute short film. The film will fill in the empty narrative spaces that Jonze and Arcade Fire baffled with in "The Suburbs" vid.

The short premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, and is playing at SXSW. The trailer also mentions the upcoming DVD release.
