Possibly knowing pre-historic 90's emo is the revival-genre-du-jour or because they had a warehouse they needed to clear out, Polyvinyl is re-releasing the first five
Braid albums. After the jump take a listen to Braid's "Movie Clock Star", off their album
The Age of Octeen
Braid played from 1993 to 1999 and in that time found a way to bridge the gap between early grunge and post-hardcore bands like Fugazi and went on to inspire a lot of what Cap'n Jazz and American Football ended up putting out later in the decade.
Polyvinyl is releasing Braid's first two release
Frankie Welfare Boy Age Five and
The Age of Octeen on vinyl first with recreated cover art.
