Ive been trained to expect the very best out of mighty
Merge Records over the years. So seeing such names scribbled in one place shouldnt seem like such a shock. Yet ticking down the list before me, Im reminded of just how many artists these guys have managed to slip up their sleeves over the years.
Destroyer, Radar Bros, Portastatic; Merge are apparently not afraid to bring a few proven vets to their SXSW party. Mix up newer names like
Shout Out Louds, Wye Oak, and
She & Him, and this is one cant miss kind of showcase. -
