It's pretty hard to escape exposure to fun. these days. Whether it's hearing their smash hit "We Are Young" at least twice every half-hour on TV thanks to their spot in a Chevy Sonic commercial, Glee's cover of that same track in their Sectionals episode (don't ask us why we know off hand which episode it was) which subsequently hit #1 on the iTunes downloads, or the simple fact that their new album Some Nights was pretty fantastic, these guys are everywhere. These anthem-crafting pop stars performed a set at the Troubadour in L.A. which the never-aging Carson Daly shot for Last Call. Performing "Be Calm" and "We Are Young," it looks like fun. can capture the playful energy of their album nearly as well live as they can in the studio. The only thing missing was the lovely voice of Janelle Monae, though Nate Ruess more than carries the tracks on his own.
