Converse has teamed up with some pretty big names in the indie music world to promote their iconic Chucks (buying your first pair of Chuck Taylors is like the hipster bar mitzvah). Last time around, they brought together Matt & Kim, Andrew W. K., and... Soulja Boy. Well, it seems like Converse is pulling out all of the stops for this year's promotion because they're going to be laying down an exclusive track from this seemingly impossible trio of Gorillaz, James Murphy, and Andre 3000. The track titled "DoYaThing" comes out 2/23, and in our minds it's going to involve "Clint Eastwood" dropping "Bombs Over Baghdad" while we're chilling with "All My Friends". Or perhaps we'll apply for jobs at "Feel Good, Inc." cause we're so "Fresh and So Clean" even though everyone thinks we're just "North American Scum" (we could do this all day folks).
Once again, the single is out 2/23. That's the official cover art above. Converse will also have some limited edition kicks to go along with the collaboration, and we're giving away a pair. Stay tuned for details.
