After some casual jungle adventuring in Peru, Swedish rock band Johnossi return to civilization with a new album entitled Transitions, set for US release April 29th. The pair consists of John Engelbert on lead vocals and guitar, and Oskar Ossi Bonde on drums. For their new album they've drafted some seasoned Swedish sailors: producers Bjorn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John, and Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow.

"Transitions is, as we see it, about us as a band," says Ossi. "It tells about the journey we made since we started as young guys in our twenties."

Johnossi have released a vintage filter-style music video for "Into the Wild", the first track off of Transitions. According to Engelbert, "The video documents the first ever live performance we did of the song in front of an audience," which evidently has taken on a whole new literal meaning. Engelbert continued, "Ossie and I had pretty much just arrived from a two-week adventure in the Peruvian rain forest, and when we got home this song suddenly felt (and still does) very inspired by what we experienced in the jungle." The show was for Transitions album release party at Nalen in their native Stockholm, Sweden.
