We're back to our roots this week with a tape chock full of new. "Chock Full o' New": it's that heavenly mixtape (sorry everyone). It's been a great week for video
, especially Thom Yorke's version of "dancing". But the mixtape has come to claim your Friday's final work hours. And even if you're out of work and loafing, let's put some jam on that bread (gun shot).

1. "Cross The Fader" - Jamaica - No Problem
Jamaica is kind of a Phoenix/Strokes hybrid, Parisian rockers who sing in English and write nifty, feet-friendly rock tracks with just the right hint of garage noise (but they refuse to use synth, which is kind of weird for a bunch of Frenchies). Their debut album is out for digital download, with a physical release planned for later in the Spring.
2. "Little By Little" - Radiohead - The King Of Limbs
Although The King Of Limbs
has been the source of rabid debate (what else is new with these clowns), nobody writes a mind-warped bridge quite like Radiohead. The album dropped (very suddenly) last week.
3. "Heartattack" - Lovett - Highway Collection
This is your new Friday night party song. Own it when Highway Collection
drops on 3/15.
4. "All Black Everything" - Lupe Fiasco - Lasers
The thinking man's Kanye still has plenty of spit left. Nice to see him back on the scene with a new album, out 3/8.
5. "Pumped Up Kicks" - Foster The People - Foster The People EP
These guys are being touted as the MGMT that DIDN'T go off the deep end. Personally we enjoy the deep end, but this song is pretty boss. Good luck getting it out of your head.
6. "Killer" - Obits - Moody, Standard and Poor
Stripped down tunes from a bunch of indie rock vets. Second full length is out 3/29 via the king of stripped down indie rock, Sub Pop.
7. "Add It Up" - BRAHMS - Add It Up
We first fell in love with the jammy electronics of BRAHMS at Cantora Bowl
, but now they've invaded the interwebs with this recently released single.
8. "Rope" - Foo Fighters - Wasted Light
Foo Fighters are still writing music for the angsty Gen-X crowd. Wasted Light
is out 4/12.
9. "Will Do" - TV On The Radio - Nine Types of Light
TVOTR have a few epic albums under their belt, so the anticipation for Nine Types Of Light
is mind melting. It's out 4/12.
10. "Love Crime" - Secret Cities - Strange Hearts
We've always really enjoyed the quirk of this Western Vinyl band, so hearing they've got a new record on the radar for late March really made the week. The perfect cut for a rainy day (like the drizzle-fest we're having in NYC at the moment).
