Noisy San Diego Duo Crocodiles have made available a new track with a luring title, "Sunday (Psychic Conversation #9)." The song is inticing partially because some of the band's music sounds like E.S.P., and also, if you're onto your ninth psychic conversation of the week, that means you're pulling double duty some days, and that's the kind of extra effort I like to see from bands these days.

"Sunday" is driven by heavy stereophonic guitars that start out loud and stay there until the end, when it sounds like someone warped the track beyond recognition. The big sound is backed by Brandon Welchez's combination of punk vocals and melodic harmonies. The combination sounds great over the heavy guitar and drums. "Sunday" will lead off the Crocodiles' third album Endless Flowers, which is due out on 6/4 on Souterrain Transmissions.
