Bowerbirds are releasing a new album 3/6, the pastorally titled
The Clearing, and if the newly released song "In The Yard" is any indication, this pastoral feel will extend to the whole CD. Combining some of the twee-folk sensibilities that we've heard recently from First Aid Kit, "In the Yard" also incorporates some more ambitious sonic elements and an intriguing electric guitar section toward the end of the song. Here are some folksters that aren't afraid to shed that "unplugged" stereotype.
