Filming so many sessions in and around our Greenwich Village pad takes some creativity. Whether we're hanging new backdrops or occupying new-found nooks in our faithful leader's home, we're always trying to add a new sense of flavor to each and every shoot. Sometimes, however, a band will schlep in their gear and take over the space all on their own with vibrant personalities and new noises. Such a case occurred yesterday when our our fellow New Yorkers, MisterWives
stopped by to perform a few songs off their debut EP Reflections
Armed with the prairie howl of Mandy Lee and an assemblage of instrumentation including xylophone and trumpet, the team known as MisterWives introduced us to their charming brand of indie-pop; one that fuses together tasty little bites for every ear to enjoy. From shivering folk intimacy to danceable ABBA-esque anthems, MisterWives' treats are some in which we encourage you to indulge.
Check out a few photos from the shoot and stay tuned to watch the full session performance in the coming weeks.
