LA producer Shlohmo and Def Jam's Jeremih, the sexiest musical pairing since Beyonce and Jay Z, reunited to release their single "No More" last week. The duo are tying the knot in their headphone chords with their upcoming collaborative EP No More. The match made in hotshot heaven came together for Adidas/Yours Truly's Songs from Scratch Series to create "Bo Peep (Do U Right)", which was their first official collaboration. The first unofficial consummation of the project, however, was Shlohmo's remix of Jeremih's "Fuck You All The Time", the mix is practically dripping with Shlohmo's loving production labor.
In a promotional video produced for Songs from Scratch, Jeremih commented, "First I thought Shlohmo was dope, I could easily flow over his bounce, and I feel like he stood out from a lot of people...I know we got something." He speaks the truth, "No More" is a fast-paced transition from their previous projects, but it brings about just as much seductive game to the table. Jeremih's vocals are bent to extremes and bedded with the deep bass and hip-hop style of Shlohmo.
