2011 was a good year for former The War on Drugs member Kurt Vile. His album, Smoke Ring for My Halo, ended up on plenty of end-of-the-year "best of" lists, and his track "Jesus Fever," was classic Americana. Kurt Vile played a small show a while back at Converse's Rubber Tracks studios for a small audience and footage of the show has now surfaced. With his simple but effective arrangements and natural ear for nailing Springsteen roots rock. Check out these two songs from the live set, and jump on board the Kurt Vile train because if Smoke Ring For My Halo was any indication, this long-haired folk-rocker is going to continue to haunt our slumber.
