SNL this week featured the captain of the twee patrol and that band that got famous because of YouTube covers (Karmin). Oh Zooey. For a chick who runs a site called "Hello Giggles," she brought a surprisingly limited amount of them! Hello mostly unremarkable episode!

A few highlights:

Zooey's best contribution was inspiring a "Bein' Quirky" sketch with Kristen Wiig's Bjork. She also does a pretty convincing Mary-Kate face.

Nic Cage was actually in the "Get In The Cage" on Weekend Update. THAT'S HIGH PRAISE!

Bill Heder's Clint Eastwood impression got a workout with the Superbowl Chrysler Ad parodies (three of them!). They kept getting older and curmudgeon-ier!

And of course, Karmin performed "I Told You So" and "Broken Hearted," some sort of combination of Jesse J, Sleigh Bells, and Nicki Minaj, all of whom we have more than enough of already, thanks!

Does midriff without belly button bother anyone else? It's like a subtle "I'm actually a robot" statement. Oh well. Next week we've got SNL alum Maya Rudolph with musical guest Sleigh Bells. So yeah, we'll be in the bar.
