At some point, you've heard your parents or your grandparents say something along the lines of "Kids these days! With their hippity-hop and Justin Biebers, they wouldn't know good music if it smacked them in their face." And us serious music fans take our lashes because while we certainly adore plenty of the classic rock that our parents adored, we know there's a little more to the world than music that came out before 1990. Well, it looks like our parents may be right about our generation after all if the stunning amount of people who didn't know who Paul McCartney was last night during the Grammys has any meaning.
