  • Late Night: Girl's Generation
In the immortal words of Keanu Reeves, "Whoa...". In one of those real-life moments where I'm still not entirely sure I'm not just dreaming, The Late Show with David Letterman has provided the hysterical (and oddly surreal) music moment of the week (which somehow manages to top Bjork's appearance on The Colbert Report). The number one girl band in South Korea, Girl's Generation, performed their hit (in Korea) "The Boys," alongside a stunned Regis Philbin in a ref's costume and a completely nonplussed Bill Murray in a football jersey. The song sounds like your typical JPop track (KPop now I guess) except in English.

What's shocking is that the song isn't completely terrible and could easily fit alongside some especially frenetic Lady Gaga song. The choreography provided by the nine band members is going to provide some great laughs although the topper of the whole event is Regis Philbin blowing his ref's whistle to end the act and David Letterman handing the lead singer a football for no apparent reason whatsover. This has to be seen to be believed...

And somehow, we still don't believe it.
