is more than just another indie-pop-band. The Canadian born and bred musicians (Matt Peters - Vocals, keyboards, acoustic guitar, Bucky Driedger - Electric guitar, vocals, Matt Schellenberg - Keyboards, vocals, Brendan Berg - Bass, keyboard, vocals, Derek Allard - Drum kit, Michael Jordan - Electronic drums) have cited their hometown to be the source of musical inspiration and have the chops to hold their own as past tour support for Alt-J and Bombay Bicycle Club. They've been seen on The New York Times 'Best Of' lists and keep things old fashioned, by playing every part of their music at every performance, even if it means lugging an obscene amount of equipment from venue to venue.
Describing their music as "lyrically sharp pop songs that move people and make people move," tracks like "Bathtub" and "Today We're Believers" have all the malleable pop-sensibilities you want to hear from an indie band. Stand out bass lines, plucky guitars, and smooth vocals easily move between octave levels and gentle rasps, consistently keeping the music interesting and full of surprises.
