The first single from
Shearwater's new album has just been released, and it is an exciting taste of the year to come. "Castaways" is a lush sea shanty of sorts, informed by frontman Jonathan Meiburg's travels around the islands down under. This song inhabits a space of soaring grandeur, with complex progressions building beneath Meiburg's powerful vocals. This one sounds like its going to be personal.
