Baeble Music will head to Jersey this Sunday night, where Maxwell’s is hosting a double-header to close out the weekend. The Junior Varsity and Bayside, both on Victory Records, will be bringing their emo anthems to Hoboken – home to Frank Sinatra, the accidental invention of soft ice-cream, and the first Blimpie sub shop.

We’re also checking out The Oxford Collapse on Saturday night. The band recently released Remember the Night Parties, which can be sampled here (courtesy of the nice folks at Sub Pop). And speaking of Sub Pop, here’s a free (and legal!) Shins song from their upcoming Wincing the Night Away. Look for that album in late January.

In other news, nominations for the 2007 GRAMMY Awards were announced this morning. K-Fed totally got robbed.
