Good news from the forthcoming album watch: Formally thought to be broken up band
Shout Out Louds have a new album in the works (ha), and first free MP3 "Walls" suggests their upbeat, energy infused pop is here to stay. Literally. You could power a two-bedroom apartment with this chorus.
Work almost didn't happen, but luckily the break after
Our Ill Wills was enough to jump start the creative battery in lead singer Adam Olenius. After writing a lot of the material in Australia, he brought (most of) the band back together and enlisted producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, The Shins, Band Of Horses). The result is a more stripped down sound than their previous, Swede-produced work... but no less exciting.
The band is set to play an album release show on March 1st at
Music Hall Of Williamsburg, with more tour dates TBA.
Work is out on 2/23.
