Ben Kyle and the rest of his band mates (
Luke Jacobs, James Orvis, Jessy Greene, Tony Zaccardi) will be busy. A year ago we declared the Minneapolis band's last release
America one of '07's great, hidden gems. "Ryan Adams, Nick Drake, Gram Parsons, Damien Rice, Bruce Springsteen - Kyle and his band mates wear timeless influences, proud as hell, over the course of this collection of bluegrass, folk, rock, and hints of Spanish flourishes." Returning to the album this morning, it's as fresh as ever...though a new album would certainly be welcome. Is it coming? Again, we're hoping. -
