This fun fitness-related interview I conducted with Brett Dennen
earlier this year will never NOT be my favorite interview ever. I was originally planning on asking him "normal" questions, like "who are your influences?" and "what's the deal with your new album?" but instead, we went completely
off script and started talking about everything fitness. It started with me asking Dennen about child's pose, and Dennen was immediately intrigued. Then we talked about building endurance with a jump rope, extending our lives by hanging upside down, healing our injuries (caused by crowd surfing at Dutch kindergartens) with cryogenic freezing, and extending our lives by doing these things and then taking minutes away from our lives by smoking, so that everything stays exactly the same.
It's a nutty conversation, but it's also the best
conversation. And most importantly, ALL of these facts are TOTALLY true.
