Singer, songwriter, and composer Owen Pallett has brought his multitracked, delayed violin touch to Caribou's "Odessa." Needless, it was an interesting take on the song.

In a performance this past spring in Paris, Pallett covered "Odessa" in a way that only he could. Starting with just a few tones emitted from a keyboard, Pallett slowly builds a wall of sound by immediately recording and looping everything that he plays on stage. The result is impressive. Pallett's voice and sound on "Odessa" captures the original's mood and energy of the track. His tone and methods may be a bit unorthodox, but he gets to where he needs to go. Check out his live cover version below.
