VOYR is planning on releasing short episodes that will take fans backstage of Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch The Throne tour. The first episode, available here, features Kanye taking cameras backstage at a Madison Square Garden show while his voiceover commentary tells us about his ambitions and pursuits. Needless to say, it is as subtle and humble as you thought Ye talking about himself would be.

"People that I want to be at my funeral? I want, like, world leaders that were, like, affected. That they'd say 'Kanye gave me my shot here,'" he says. Despite his over the top statements and outlandish ego, this clip gives us a peak behind the throne. Ye knows he isn't the most important person in the world (though he does compare himself to the invention of the lightbulb), but he has high expectations of himself and of his craft. He wants to be remembered, and he wants to be loved by his fans. When people think of Kanye outside of his music, they think of him hopping on stage for awards he wasn't nominated for and making Mike Myers look more uncomfortable than anyone who had to suffer through The Love Guru, but this mini-doc attempts to let us know him a bit more, as a human instead of a crazed celebrity. The man is just in pursuit of "awesomeness."
