When John Carter Cash was going through his parents' Johnny and June Carter Cash's old recordings at the Sony Music Archives he discovered an unreleased album featuring 12 new tracks his father had recorded in two different sessions from 1981 and 1985. The album, titled Out Among the Stars, includes duets with June Carter Cash and Waylon Jennings and had been forgotten after Cash finished his last record Rainbow with Columbia Records in 1985. In the preview below we hear parts of a new song "She Used to Love Me a Lot" and see John Carter Cash speak about the discovery. Out Among the Stars will be released March 25, 2014.
