We're not going to beat around the bush, but when we heard this guy's debut album we saw his as a perfect heir to the Three 6 Mafia legacy (minus the hilarity of owning up to songs with titles like "A*s and Titties" and "Slob on my Knob"), and with a flow closer to the cartoon character in Die Antwoord. This new track, however, shows a little more depth to the rapper. On this ode to a crystal meth dealer named Billy, Yelawolf
takes an objective and interesting look into the dark world of meth sales and usage in the south. The beat brings an interesting twist via a slight dub-step kind of feel, and the guy singing the chorus sounds a lot like Hadaway
, which is always sweet. Check it out below.
