The Kills.
When they take the stage, they do so with a commanding kind of moxie...the kind that suggests they're more than just romanticizing well worn, but (sometimes) pitifully practiced rock clichs.
The Kills are living it.
Alison Mosshart and
Jamie Hince are a legitimate presence, exerting an angst ridden, almost unattainable attitude of their very own. With danger in their delivery, sex in their swagger, and maybe even a bit of booze on their breath, it's no wonder this performance from the
Domino Records showcase stands out as one of SXSW's finest hours. -
